Dorsch supports RAG at long-time liabilities - Press article on Ibbenbüren

In late summer 2018 the ARGE Grubenwasserkanal lbbenbüren, a Joint Venture of the engineering consultants Dorsch International, IMM Maidl & Maidl and Dr. Pecher AG, was commissioned with the planning services for the mine water drain Ibbenbüren. Among other things, extensive geotechnical, mechanical and process engineering challenges have to be mastered.
Hard coal mining at lbbenbüren colliery has already been completed. From the end of 2019, the mine drainage system will be discontinued. On behalf of RAG Anthrazit lbbenbüren GmbH, ARGE Grubenwasserkanal lbbenbüren is planning a tunnel at a depth of up to 100 m below ground, which in future will safely collect and drain the water at a defined level in the mountains.
Three authors (D. Edelhoff, IMM Maidl & Maidl - ARGE Ibbenbüren; J. Kunz and H.-D. Pollmann, RAG Anthrazit) published the bilingual article "Tunnel Construction meets Underground Mining - Special Technical Challenges in Development and Planning of the Mine Water Sewer lbbenbüren " in the current issue of the "Mining Report" No. 155 / 2018 (<link https: mining-report.de>
