Dorsch achieves largest contract in its history on infrastructure services in Qatar

As a consequence of the population and economic growth in the State of Qatar more highways and associated infrastructure works including building projects (ports, schools, healthcare facilities, cultural facilities, sports and recreational facilities and other public and government buildings) are required. Public Works Authority of Qatar "Ashghal" (PWA) intends to deliver the Local Roads and Drainage associated infrastructure within a coordinated framework of outsourced contracts.

To achieve this goal, Dorsch Qatar was  now awarded with Professional Services Contract for New Consultancy Supervision Services (contract No. 8) by Ashghal for the city of Doha in the State of Qatar. The overall project value of the contract is QAR 16 billion, approx. € 3.75 billion.

This achievement is a result of a close and continuous cooperation between Dorsch Qatar Management, and the Regional Dorsch Team in Abu Dhabi. Dorsch Qatar is currently working on a similar project for the client Ashghal showing high performance through Dorsch Qatar Team, which helped as well in awarding the second project with the same nature but with four times the value of the current one.

The Site Supervision Services will initially run for 4 (four) years starting in October 2020 until 2024, unless extended by Ashghal.

Sit-services rendered by Dorsch include, but are not limited to, contract management and administration, and supervision of the construction works of selected construction contractors. All services will be conducted for the Road Services Department at Ashghal.

This project is the biggest Contract in the history of Dorsch in terms of awarded value of approx. QAR 400,000,000 / € 95,000,000 in consulting fees. This project is another gem added to Dorsch's successful portfolio and will open more doors for Dorsch in the Middle East market in the future.
